DockBook uses account, booking, payment, captain verification, and uploaded document information to operate the marketplace. Payment card information is handled by Stripe. Captain verification documents are stored privately and should only be accessible to authorized reviewers. Before launch, finalize retention periods, deletion procedures, consumer privacy disclosures, and vendor terms with counsel.
